EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (ED) - Migrant Health Service, Inc. (MHSI), a non-profit organization that serves the health needs of migrant and seasonal farm workers and their families is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as the ED to oversee the 9 nurse-managed clinics and 2 advocacy program centers in Minnesota and North Dakota.
The ED will administer, implement and direct all aspects of MHSI in accordance with the policies, strategic goals and objectives set forth by the Board of Directors; providing vision and leadership to align the organization internally and externally with its strategic plan, and assuring the continued success of MHSI.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in public health, health administration, business administration or a related field.  Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in directing administrative and developmental activities similar to those required in this position is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the socio-economic characteristics of farmworkers and rural environments, and experience working with underserved populations and rural communities
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing successful grant proposals, program reports, organization policies and an understanding of accounting and financial systems to analyze, evaluate and report MHSI’s performance.
  • Ability to work with many individuals and groups, including staff, providers, community leaders, representatives of the consumer population and members of other agencies.

Northland Community Health Center

Medical Director/Chief Medical Officer - The CMO will be responsible to Northland Community Health Center’s Director for organization and coordination of the clinical functions which are fundamental to the conduct of the center’s operations.  As a member of the management and planning team, provides medical practice delivery development, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the goals of the program of Northland Community Health Centers.  This position will also be responsible for covering some clinic hours.

Coal Country Community Health Centers

Chief Executive Officer - An opportunity exists for leadership of Coal Country Community Health Centers located in Beulah, North Dakota.  Health Center consists of 3 clinic sites located in Beulah, Center and Towner, ND with the main clinic and administrative offices located in Beulah.

Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a Community Health Center or Rural Health Clinic.  Experience in operations of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) preferred.  Additional qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field or a combination of education and experience in healthcare.

Must demonstrate successful experience in the ability to work effectively with providers, staff, and Board of Directors.  The selected candidate will be expected to work with existing area healthcare providers, including supporting and continuing the current development of a collaborative relationship with the local Critical Access Hospital to provide quality, cost-effective primary care services to area residents.
